I opened a BetOnline account yesterday so that I can participate in an SBR contest, with the prizes being BetOnline funds. I'd received a mailer from them last week and had been planning on opening with them anyway due to good SBR reviews.
I was eating lunch just a little while ago, and got a call from my "account manager" who's name I don't recall. Thanked me for setting up an account with them, noticed I don't have any funds, blah blah. Said I was going to be depositing "a dime, dime and a half" for football season soon. Tells me football starts, what'd he say, this week or something, and asks "are you sure you can't make a deposit?"
Ok, now I just said I was going to dep between $1k-1500 fairly soon, why are you sweating me? The only other sportsbook to call me like that is BetUS, a very highly regarded (
) book on this site, so........am I overreacting, was this guy just trying to make some deposit quota, or what?
