no national championship for big ten now
0 penalties against michigan state?? reverse a no td call?/
Makes u wonder though.
Still a bad coaching job by wisconsin calling that timeout
and why were their more receivers then defenders in the end zone?? i noticed like 4 badgers around the 20 yard line like they wanted to protect a short pass

Probably not take some stones to make that call at the camp.

Is there anyone who bet on MSU who thinks it shouldn't have been called a TD?
...didn't think so, I got screwed as well (even had Wisc. teased 13) but it was a TD without question.

It was a home team call. If it was the other way they would have called it short.

I'm glad they got the call, but I will tell you I would not have been surprised at all if in Wisconsin the ref came back and announced the ruling on the field stands. Shit has happened too many times.
Should it have been called a td? Yes. Would it have been in Wisconsin? About the same chance as coming back alive from a meeting with Nicky Santoro a hundred yards further down the road.

There was nothing conclusive to show he scored. Call should have been what the on-field ref made.

i didnt watch the end of this game so i just saw it on a highlight later and i didnt even know it was a big controversy. i obviously saw that it was close but there was very little doubt in my mind that at least a tiny piece of the ball crossed THE FRONT of the white line that starts the endzone.

Moot point ... if this game is in Madison it's a blowout.
Wiscy is a jekyl and hyde team whose coach had WAY too much confidence in an average defense. He then let les miles manage the clock at the end.
This is no knock on State, they deserved to win, but their big plays were more a case of Wiscy miscues.
Blocked punt: at least 4a guys missed blocking assignments.
Blocked FG: that was a bobbled snap and shanked kick, otherwise it's not blocked.
Wilson missed a wide open pederson twice for sure TD'S.
Toon not looking for the pass on the first int
Not mixing up the snap count when it was obvious worthy was timing it perfectly
And last but not least: the officials blew 1 call ... 3rd and 8 with 30 seconds left the left tackle clearly false starts. Or maybe it was worthy at left tackle, in which case he is allowed a half second head start on all important plays.
