Don't request a check if you do... use western union or money gram... I believe they require a deposit to have this option available but I read elsewhere that you can make a minimum deposit by moneygram and then basically withdraw your entire balance the next day...

I wonder if this could have been the payment processors accounts that were issuing checks for bodog... seems like sizable balances to keep just to process checks though but I guess this could explain the problems with processing checks if someone who as many players as bodog was only using one or two processors and they got hit by the feds...
