It seems like Republicans are always blaming Democrats and Democrats are always blaming Republicans for taking away our rights and trying to control us. To me, it seems like neither of these parties are very interested in the people having power, including the power to make bad choices for themselves.

AND even more specifically, do we have any reason to believe that either Obama or McCain would be more favorable to bettors and gamblers of all kinds? Certainly there are more important issues than this when it comes to choosing a president, but I feel this issue does shed some light on how these fellows view our freedoms.

What the hell, I'll add a poll option...
    12
    Obama
    0%
    9
    McCain
    0%
    2
    Equally unfavorable
    0%
    1

    The poll is expired.

I fear this question is much the same as asking: 'Who would provide better team chemistry. Manny Ramirez or Chad Johnson.'

Exactly, McCain tried to pass a bill a few years ago that would have made it illegal to bet on sports in Vegas (or anywhere for that matter within the U.S.). Meanwhile, Obama is in support for a study being performed of the offshore betting industry in the hopes of making it legal. If this is just a fun hobby you can do without, by all means vote for McCain. If you really enjoy this or profit from this business, the answer of who to vote for is clear: Obama. And for the record: I am not a democrat.

I hate to admit it because most everything about him repulses me just like it did with Clinton but Obama would be better for allowing online gambling.Hell,** Cain is ready to wage war on Nevada where it pisses him off looking over the Colorado River at Bullhead City seeing all the money being spent at Laughlin casinos.

Obama would want to legalize it and tax you to death on it. I think the queen in England works it the same way.Republicans don't want online gambling because of their moral stand on things as well as not wanting more taxes on something to be held against them that they raise taxes and that would do a double whammy on them.

McCain has gone on record time and again as anti gambling. Obama is the choice for any hopes of online gaming in the U.S.
