Watch out for Ernie Els this week

I read his blog today and he claims he is hitting the ball great. The only concern he has is his putting so he flew to Las Vegas and spent a few days with his coach Butch Harmon.

It turns out Butch has given him a new putting stroke which is really his old putting stroke when he first came on tour. Ernie feels good about it and feels ready to take it on the course.

I put a few bucks on him this week including a couple of matchup plays for tomorrow against Mickelson and Singh.

i liked him when he won earlier in florida this year since then he is had,he is trying to make a last ditch run to top his career before he retires unfortunately i dont think its going to happen.

butch harmon normally flies to the events for his clients early in the week.sounds a little fishy he flew to him

He's had a lot of off course stuff, this article probably tells you allyou need to know. The fact his wife told him she would leave him if he didn't spend more time at home in London probably didn't help.

Nothing fishy about it. Els overhauled his putting stroke and that obviously takes some time. He can't really do that kind of work during a tour event.

He is one of golfs greatest chokers and has no heart, he will not win anything.
