Bill: We pull a feed, in most cases, every 10-15 seconds. The books also update their feed at about the same intervals. This means that new odds could have just pulled a pinny feed right when pinny changed a line and the old odds could have hit right before the change. The new odds might be 30 secs between hits. So its possible for a 45 sec gap between the two. Before game time, that could mean some line moves. New odds will be closer to 5-10 secs soon. We are working in speeding up the line feed importing now.

If you see anything more dramatic than a couple cents over a couple secs, pls let us know. The new odds should have more changes, especially for matchbook and pinnacle, because we pull much faster and they move cents back n fourth.

Yeah please let us know any performance problems you experience today with all the college games. There's still some things we can do to improve the delay for the lines. Probably one of the next things we'll work on.

I think JJ is suggesting the first columns which get taken over by the score and game status area have a background color (the box that opens when the game starts).

There's no delay by us. It's displayed on the screen as soon as we can get it from the feed. Though sometimes we can make that process a little faster.

There's a button on both sites to view yesterdays games. On the old site yesterdays games are displayed with todays games until 12pm EST.

on the west vir game, at 8:02 the line was -113, only (old screen) syr 8:03 -110

new screen at 8:00 -111, 115,113 and at 8:01 -110 syr

so in essence the times are slightly off as well as the numbers.... two were missing from the old screen
-111 and -115

Keep in mind the times on the two sites are not synchronized.

sure, that s understandable, but the numbers should not be missing from one to another, so we do not know wich is more accurate, the old screen or the new, my guess is the new but we have no confirm on this,

As far as missing lines the new site would be more accurate. Some of the books are pulled faster so it would be expected that there are some lines missing on the old site. If we pull the lines every minute on the old site and it updates twice in that time period we can only show the last line update. The newer site will show more lines if this is the case.

Right, and you'll see more of that. We now pull Matchbook every 10 secs vs 30 secs in the past. All those 2 cent moves will be missed in the old site if 2 happen within 30 secs. The new site shouldn't miss them. In theory, if Matchbook changed the line 3 times in 10 seconds, you'd only see one on the new SBRodds too. A Sports Options or DonBest that use a socket connection instead of xml will be pushed everything. That's a main difference between a website and a pay-for desktop application. Think SBRpoker...every action has to be real time. It wouldn't work if we tried to run it on an html website with a feed. HTML5 is the future. It can do both. When poker is legal in the USA, that's probably how theyll launch it.

Can you point us to certain ones? 5Dimes does have different line sets with reduced juice and full juice and if you signed up at Sportbet and were using the 5D website that would be another. We'd like to check it out. Thanks

Is that the line you see when you are signed in to the site or the line you see on their live lines page without being logged in? Those two will also differ. Thanks!
