That was a horrible move... I see this stuff all the time in baseball, guys playing purely the numbers, but disregarding reality and hot players. Yah numbers wise Ogando was the right play. Except that the same hitter burned Ogando the night before, and oh yeah what happened the hot hand came through again. Go figure.
Saw the same thing in the Detroit series when they walked some dude to get to Napoli who had just made an amazing throw to second, hot hand, guess what hot hand got a hot hit.
Oh well those managers are under alot of pressure and I shouldn't knock them. If I had to sit through every game of 162 game season I would probably be on numbers autopilot as well.
