Feeling question on spreads

i am not asking about capping, but just your feelings.

after cap the game, and placed the bet. which feeling will make you happier?

1. bet the dog with huge spread...say +21 in NCAA FB, and the game is close.
2. or bet the favorite with huge spread...say -21 in NCAA FB, and the team is just rolling over the underdog.

Dog with big spread covering for sure because they're still playing for something and have proven they can hang with a team to that point. When you're laying 21 points, backdoor covers seem like they'd happen a lot more often against you.
