I need a simple answer should I bet on Cardinals game 1??

I went Cards for that reason, carp has a good playoff record. Atmosphere is gonna be intense. If your the rangers and your pitcher is on the hill in a tight spot, it's gonna be tough to get out of. Also factor in that the rangers have good hitters but they don't typically play in this stadium. I'm going cards cause of pitcher and theyre used the the friendly confines of their park. GL

yeah i fill like cardinals have momentum and excitement around them right now. Not that the Rangers aren't confident or anything but the Cardinals are really playing about as well as they can possibly play right now.

That Freese dude is the best player on the planet right now.

I'm seriously considering backing the Rangers tonight with Wilson on the hill. His offspeed stuff should be able to keep Holliday/Berkman/Pujols off balance, as long as he gets ahead in the count. It's going to be shitty, cold and rainy tonight in St Louis....more like Boston weather for mid to late October. Carpenter has had a long season and the Cards bullpen has been used more than any other bullpen in playoff baseball history. That has to take it toll eventually, right?

FWIW, I put my beat the prick freeplay on cards -1.5 +190. I think bets/lines like this are always a great use of freeplays, versus something like Cards ML -125.

the thing i like about this matchup for the Cardinals is that the Cardinals have a primarily right handed line-up and they are facing a lefty in CJ Wilson who has been hit hard in the playoffs so far

Good bet is to bet on the - 1 1/2 handicap of st louis to win by at least that many rund and also bet a prop of st. louis to win by exactly one run. So either way good money as long as st. louis wins.

The best bet, is the under in this game because of the weather, and because of who is pitching. Carp. has looked good in the post-season besides when he pitched on short rest. CJ wilson has looked off in Det. had an okay game once, who knows what we see from him. He is pitching for a new contract, he knows if he has a decent world series he is going to be coveted by boston big time. And you know how boston overpays for good not great starting pitchers.
