I seen where the home team in the World Series has a series win record of 26-5. I think the Cards is the play. Texas was there last year and didn't get the job done. I don't think the team made any major changes in the past year, so you basically have the same team playing again this year.

Uhhhh.....Beltre, Napoli, Adams & Gonzales have all been fairly "major" for the Rangers this year.

Texas will be the best offensive team the Cards played this post season. This series comes down to what ballpen pitches better and I think Texas will get it done. I'm a National League league guy and would love to see the Cards do it but Texas wins it in 5-6 games...

I took Cards Series @ +140 @ SBR. Going to wait to put real money on it to see where Games 1 & 2 go. I think a split and STL gets a better price because people will think TEX is going to put it away at home.

cards backers should just bet correct result 4-1/4-2/4-3. a unit on each will make you +242 at worst and if they win in 6 you make 321. i doubt st louis will sweep.

Lets not forget STL has already taken out the best team in baseball this year and nobody in Texas' lineup is feared more the Fat Albert. Put a hot swinging Freese along with a savvy manager in Larussa and we may have a classic (here).They're also playing good on the road this playoff season.

Both teams are playing at a high level so anything is possible. STL should get their runs either early or late against suspect closer Feliz. That middle relief for TEX is deadly (right now).

TEX starting pitching may become an issue with STL having home field advantage. There NOT the cream of the crop, but if they can hand the ball off to those "middle relievers" with a lead.....lights out! I want to see those relievers "hold" a game where the lineup needs to score runs because they're behind.

Might be a classic. expecially since most is not giving STL a chance. With that said...

Texas in 6......for now. But let STL win both games 1 and 2.<O
