take the $200 you are going to spend on steak and Become a Pro instead. money might end up in the toilet either way, but sbr/sportsbook is much more fun.

I had a steak at Rivas yesterday.

BEST fuking steak I can remember.

        Also their halibut is amazing.

I don't know what area you are, but Gale Street Inn and Wildfire are pretty good too, and a little less expensive.

griz, their steaks are reasonably priced, 20-40 bux depending what you get. had 8oz filet last night, i swear i dont remember ever having a steak that good.. was to die for.

very affordable for the type of service you get.

you should be able to stay under 5 long as you dont order a 250 bottle of wine.

isnt it the original mortons there in chicago? mortons is one of my favorites but its a chain, just like fogo de chao. both are good as hell. prolly better spots that are local joints. i heard Gene & Georgetti is good. depends if you like " wet aged" or "dry aged" beef.

i think this will be our game plan:
Drinks at signature lounge (the ladies love it up there)
                                      then walk to ditka's
both are easily accessible from the redline

                                      i enjoy ditkas

I will let u guys know if plan changes. thanks.

yep 90 minutes from downtown to downtown (if there's no major traffic), i go to chicago all the time.
i spend quite a bit of the summer at six flags/arlington which are closer, but i go to downtown chicago at least a few times a year.

milwaukee is much cheaper if you want to get wasted, there are only a small handful of top tier places that charge $12+ for a drink, most places you can get stuff like dewars on the rocks for around $5 and they usually give you 2-3 shots worth!
