Staff has been good, but top 5 is tough sledding.
Brady, Rodgers and Brees are definitely in the top 3. From there you can go with any of these guys to fill out the final 2 spots:
Vick (as much as his team has sucked, he has played very good this year)
Eli (people always give Eli a hard time, but he is putting up really nice numbers this year)
Alex Smith (his team is 5-1 and he is playing near flawless football)
Fitzpatrick (I know he has cooled off a bit, but he is still playing really well)
But yeah, I think Staff does belong in the top 5. I think I'd put Eli and Staff along with Brady, Rodgers, and Brees in the top 5.Comment -

It's prove yourself time for as long as Best is out. Nice move by the Lions actually. Brown had very little value behind behind Shady there and ever since fat ass made an ass out of him with that fake draw/pass a couple weeks ago the fans didn't want Ronnie touching the ball anymore.

He was a defensive coordinators nightmare for 10 games last year, since then he has not been. Between his picks, fumbles and constantly leaving games in the 3rd and 4th quarters theres no way he can be called top 5. For that stretch last year he was probably number 1 though..Comment -
