    Supper or dinner?
    Which one do you eat?

I eat dinner. 90% of he time I hear somebody say supper it's a hick talking. Mostly southerners.

    Am I wrong?

Supper is said in northern New England, too. Usually, if you grew up in Maine, New Hampshire or Vermont (like myself) you still say "supper"

People look at me like I'm crazy when I say it, but fukk them.

I didn't know WTF a "grinder" was when I came to this state either!

Supper is a lighter meal than a dinner.
Supper is 'dinner lite' so to speak when dinner is served at mid afternoon.

Now in Europe I think they have different definitions, but in America dinner is the main meal of the day.

both my grandpap and my old boss at the greenhouse (was 70 or so) called lunchtime supper, and dinnertime dinner... I think its an older generation, labor worker way of thinking.
