WILMINGTON, Del. -- An unidentified bettor in Delaware correctly picked the outcome of 15 straight NFL games to win $100,000 on a $5 parlay wager, the Philadelphia Daily News reported.
The odds of a winning the bet are 32,000-to-1, since it requires a bettor to correctly predict 15 NFL games against the spread.
The winning ticket was handed in at Delaware Park a week ago, and included 13 wins in Week 5, plus correct picks of the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens Sunday.
Delaware legalized sports betting in 2009, allowing only parlay wagers on NFL games. Since introducing the 15-team, $100,000 jackpot, no bettor had managed to take down the pot.
