There's a -EV for mid-week stays during football season. Sounds like a ripoff since you can get hotel rooms for cheap mid-week.

Old school for sure but they have 'renovated' it

The place is one step away from being a "Rent-It-By-the-Minute"
Been that way since the late 90's

Place is a fukkin dive, last time I've been there, the huge Leroy's was gone (but they could be remodeling). Leroy's lines suck, btw.
But $249? With air fare? Not bad, not bad. Don't go to the buffet. Yuck.
It's within walking distance to Hilton, where you can find all the other SBR degenerates. Outside of that, it's nothing more than a place to put your luggage. You'll need a car/taxi to hit the better parts of the strip.
If you just want to gamble, I'd do it.

if you got the airfare here included, that's way worth it. At the very least you can use the room to bring back the working girls you pick up downtown.

Sounds like it might be cheaper then paying your own airline tickets... If you don't want to stay at the Rivera (which is a dump) take the offer and just leave the room empty...

Depending on what city you are coming from the $249, with round trip is not bad. I myself would pay the 249, just for the airfare and than get a comped room at another hotel on the strip. Try the new Aria.

Sounds like a good deal. Nice they include a limo - normally need a big betting average for those.

Riviera has hosted the Amateur Pool Association nationals each year. Any time our team would be lucky enough to advance there, my wife and I would give our room up to others on the team and stay elsewhere.

Worth it just for the airfare for me.
The place is definitely old-school Vegas on the run down/vacant end of the strip.
Hooters has similar deals and is in a much better location if you're looking for a cheap, weekend getaway.
I thought I recently heard the Sahara, right close by, was bought out and gong to be demolished? Not true?

Yeah, go for the airfare, check out the room and stay in it if you like it, use the limo, avoid the Riv's buffet at all costs, and go to the comedy show if that's your thing. Smoking deal, that you can adjust along the way.

Hooters Isn't that the old San Remo? That dump is right next to Crackhouses and .99 cent steak and egg joints

Hooters is right next to the Tropicana and across the street from MGM Grand and Hard Rock hotel, basically on the strip.
Pretty sure there's no crack houses on the block homie.
It's not a nice hotel by any means, but for someone on a budget it does the trick.

Sahara had $1 BJ for a while before they closed. I was betting $3-$5 anyways. No use for one dollar a f_uckin hand.
