just look at nyy and bos the last 2 days.. they are combined 0-4 and down 6.2 units. they were always big favs in each game. today, lackey going into the game in bos had an era lifetime of over 7 in fenway, and came within a few outs of a no hitter. it means squat. the more you know, the less successful you are. believe me boys.. like JJ said, dont matter what a teams record on grass during night games vs a lefty pitcher on a cloudy day.. means squat.. you hear me boys... MEANS SQUAT.. trust me boys. i have been in this business for 25 yrs. i have seen it all..

handicapping this stuff is IMPOSSIBLE.. anyone can win on any given day.. just get the best possible numbers and dont have an opinion.. let the books pick your games by whichever way they agressively move the line, then take opposite.. it's your only chance to come up ahead, or you have no chance.. and play into reduced juice books only like matchy.. it's the only chance you have of not losing money in this business, cause as you see, the numbers are just too hard to beat.. just play whatever edges you have on the lines.. period

how can you go wrong at matchy.. when OLY has -130/+110, matchy is -121/+118, and this after commission.. both ways you get almost 10 cents more.. instead of a 20 cent line, you get to play into a 3 cent line. do you have any idea how much that adds up to at the end of the year?

you're absolutely right panic, it's for suckers. and it's a sickness.. funny you say this because my vid coming up will be about how addictive gambling is and how it's ruinied my life. i am preparing it for some time tonight..

1 in 2000 make a living from this panic.. and those are accurate stats.. and i am only including sports here, not horses, poker machines, slots, casino gambling. if i included this, it would be 1 in 275,000..

not only could i make a 5 min video on youtube of how gambling has ruined my life and many others, but i could find enough to tell you boys in a 47 day youtube video of what i have seen in my career as a bettor/bookmaker.. i have seen at least a half a dozen people i know kill themselves from this, NO JOKE.. and a good 15 more who have attempted suicide and another 75 who have lost everything, including family, house.. etc..

When I left school i worked in a betting shop for six years. I loved that fvckin job, loved the atmosphere, just generally liked being in the company of gamblers. If it didn't pay so badI would styill be there today. Anyway, the point of my post is Nicky is right. I saw a LOT of people lose....the rent, their life, their family, their liberty, their mind. It's amazing and sad at the same time to watch friends and acquaintences totally lose the plot through gambling.
