the same "sharps" were saying the same thing about the Bears game and how the Vikings should cover and possibly win...Jets are by far the better team and have a chip on their shoulder i see a similar result as last nights game. Better team with something to prove on big stage.

Jets are a playoff caliber team for sure and are 2-3 which is critical... so they are at the panic red alert mentality like Atlanta 2-3, Chicago 2-3, and Dallas 2-2 who all covered.
The Jets have played a very tough (#1) schedule, that matters; they are still a top squad.
They will win with "D" and special teams and big plays and if they get ahead will run the ball down Miami's throats.
Miami has played good but weaker (#7) schedule and is losing, is off a bye, which helps, though bye teams went just 2-2-1 yesterday.
I would lean to Jets at home, a Monday night critical game coming off a loss. They will be fired up. "D" will dominiate, smother Miami's so-so offense especially if they get ahead and can blitz in passing situations. INT's, turnovers.

Matt Moore is going to shit on Jets with his legs and a healthy daniel thomas and reggie bush means jets will focus on stopping that. So it comes down to Moore being able to hit the super fast Gates over the suspect Jets safety! All I know is 7.5 points is way too many for a struggling Jets team to cover especially with one of the worst qb's in the league in Sanchez. Well Miami is terrible in passing defense, 31st in the league. So i think sanchez has a good game. One of his better games of the season, miamis run defense is eh.
Jets have one of the better passing defenses in the league, something Matt Moore has never seen yet, with the complex blitz schemes they have, i expect them to blitz blitz blitz and blitz moore. to force him into bad mistakes.

Someone mentioned earlier that the books put this line at -7 so the public would bet it and the books would bet on Miami? Well you are completely wrong. It opened at -9.5. Then those in vegas bet Miami like crazy to get the line down to -7 as Vegas betters love a TD. but now if it goes to -6.5 (which it is at some books), all those vegas bettors will bet hard on the Jets....the books don't make anything. the public and those who bet for a living adjust the line.

You can't compare qb's in this match-up because everyone knows Sanchez is just as shitty as Moore. JETS D always made Sanchez look better than what he is. JETS D is shitty so far this season. Last year they held oppoents under 20ppg and they scored just about 22ppg. The last 3 games Jets avg 24ppg but allow 32ppg. The last 3 games MIA avg 17ppg but allow 22ppg. MNF will be a boring matchup between these once great defenses. It is a given each will pound the run but both will come up short everytime. Jets 20-16.
