So I have this local bookie, I hadn't bet with him in about 4 months and he called me up and asked why and I told him about the how it sucks when he doesn't answer the phone to get my bets in... it sucks!!! So last week I started back with him and every tuesday is pay day, I kicked his ass last week for a couple g's, but still on the morning games (11 my time) he wouldn't or didn't answer. Now today he didn't take one of my bets... was lookin at the Angels and the Cards... another two wins... so tell me how big of a joke this is... he's paid me out big before but I sure as **** hope he doesn't think he's gonna **** me over!!!! The shitty thing is he's part of some organized crime asian division.. so there would be nothing I could do about it!!! but he hasn't yet so lets hope!!!

Seriously, be nice, cordial, pleasant and collect your money with class. If you declines to pay at first, don't panic or lose it. You will get it.

Then take the money, post up with an A+ book and never use this moron ever again.

I had a local that a lot of times during the week he was not available for early days games. It sucked but he was always out settling up on some days.

I think that is what I will end up doing is going with a good... no great book online, and probably playing just a bit here and there with the local if he pays... which i'm sure he will.. so now thats been said.. .who do you recommend for a great online book?

IMO, I don't think you can go wrong with BetJamaica (smaller limits) 5dimes (med limits) or TheGreek (larger limits). If you are strictly a straight bettor with no parlays or the like, Matchbook is another option.

well it is an option posting up online, it just seemed like alot of hassle... alot easier if you could post up with a cc... but i should just get off my ass and go the moneygram route... seems pretty easy to me to do that... the guy isn't a bad guy just seems to do this shit too much... has been good to me other than the fact of the not answering my calls sorta thing... but i think now is the time to go to an online book and just have him for a few plays here and there....
