i think the 49ers will make it a good game but when you have insurance like calvin johnson at home in the dome, detroit should pull away late... sf should be able to run the ball and that will keep stafford and company off the field... on the other side of the ball, detroit will have trouble running the ball on sf so that puts the load on stafford... with his receivers vs the 49ers db's, he should be able to move the ball enuff to cover 4... 49ers will not expose anyone, but i have them to cover +4. should be a great game. they got two big plays in the monday night game that they probably won't get tomorrow. maybe a long johnson td, but the best run was an anomaly. if i had to pick a time for them to come down to earth, it would be this game against the niners.

They win ugly, have great MLB's, and make some big special teams plays...
It's gonna be a repeat of last week... The Niners are going to have to run the ball better than the Bears to have a shot... If they don't, the crowd noise and pass rush will eventually get them...Comment -

the 49ers are the ones who are going to get exposed. the lions have a wonderful quarterback, solid running backs/playmakers, pro bowl wr, good tight end, veteran wr2, and good offensive line, all to complement a decent defense.
the 49ers have wide receivers, a running back, and a decent defense, but they have NO QUARTERBACK. and until they get one, they will never be a real team.

San Fran is gone run the ball, play good special teams and try to play mistake free football. If Alex Smith can make some plays in the passing game they have a shot at winning. Lions want have a lot of success running the ball but Stafford should be able to carve up the San Fran pass defense. As long as the Lions don't turn the ball over they should win.Comment -
if alex smith can complete some passes, the 49ers should win this game. the problem is- hes not that good at completing passes. this year is probably alex smith's last chance. Nobody would want him to start for their team other than maybe the jaguars or the colts. hes smart- he is figuring this out.
