How to lure a snake?

So when I walked in my house just now there was a snake chillin on my tile. It looked pretty cool so instead of just getting rid of it right away I decided to film it first with my video phone and then put a fake toy snake next to it to see how it would react.

It got scared and slithered underneath a slit inside the kitchen.

How the hell do I get it out now? Or do I just have to wait?

Anyway to lure it out with something?

If I were to hazard a guess for luring, I'd say a heat lamp.

Well based on threads I've seen it seems that many here think they're the epitome of accuracy when it comes to such depths of subjects like Theology, so it can't be too much to ask that somebody might know something about snakes?

Well that surely looks like a black ratter, and those are good little fella's to have around. Don't blame you for not wanting it in the house, but if you can it would be good to catch that sucker and set it free out in some field. How long do you reckon it was? If you lived closer I'd come get it and put it to work.

When I lived in Texas I always got snakes in my pad and one of reasons why I left that jungle.

Maybe a smole cloud might work or some type of fogger

your going to have to wait. Snakes are very lazy animals. You could try putting a hotpad out for it to come onto, but it would have to be under something to make it feel safe bathing there.

FYI I've caught the most poisonous rattlesnake in all of north and south america.

The mojave green rattlesnake.

Just get a stick and scoop it out.

I doubt it's a rattler, so I can't kill you. It wont strangle you, It will just try to run away because it's a fight it will lose. Unless it's a red racer, but they aren't dark.

Alright, well, it's been a few hours and still no sign of the intruder.

It's like arctic conditions in my place right now because my friend suggested that I crank down the AC as low as possible in hopes that the snake will come out to find warmth from the cold tile. I'm gonna catch pneumonia over this bitch.

My girlfriend is coming over in about an hour so hopefully it pops out by then. No way I'm telling her there's a snake stuck in my kitchen or I'm not getting laid.
