Only R1 so don't expect a good turnout like the following we had going throughout most of Rogers Cup yet, but any plays for this afternoon or evening?

My streak continues. Nieminen is screwing me. He rallied from 6-4 down in 1st set tie break and had a chance to serve for the win. But promptly loss two points on serve. F-stain. Passed on Robredo for him. Robredo killed Fish. Took Querrey/Soderling for a parlay for this next batch.

Looking at the Haas-Youzhny match as another possible play this afternoon. Good prices for both. Not sure who I like, maybe Yoozh? Donald Young upset special tonight over Monfils perhaps. But with my streak - those are sure losses.

Soderling with the bagel in set one, guy looks so strong right now, but it's against Julien Benneteau who Gonzo had just slapped around last week.

Yeah he must have, there's no score line I can find at all and I read a tennis board talk about him walking like he was limping onto the court. Books and update sites usually take a little while in these cases for non major tennis tourneys.

Soderling is looking strong, which is good since I took him at -330. Also put a pretty good chunk on querrey at even odds, he's a break down in the 2nd set, after winning the 1st set.

Going to add Ginepri as well, maybe I'll throw in a Gonzo/Ginepri small parlay at +136

Typical of Querrey really, I didn't think there was any chance it wasn't going to a 3rd set, hope he wins it though.

Well Querrey was just up 30-0 with Mathieu serving for the set and blows it. Going into a 3rd set. Sodering wins which is good.

The stats are favoring Querrey especially with the aces, just got a little behind at the beginning of the 2nd set and couldn't recover. He held his serve after that very strong.

I've got my money on a long-shot parlay of Youzhny and Berdych along with a couple of football matches.

Also got a parlay of Tanasugarn, Querrey, Soderling and Kudryatseva.

                                                Tursunov vs Safin

Tursunov leads the series 1-0, but the last match is fairly irrelevant having transpired in 2004 on grass at that. Two turbulant players who are at times mentally unreliable, hardpressed to find the kinds of value which would warrant laying a big bet on, but I think anytime you can get a small +$ price here you might as well plop down a bet on it. This is anybody's match but I'd take my chances with Marat here, although I fully expect a 3 set match.

I like them. The only one I think might come down to the wire or possibly go the other way, is Safin. I can easily see Super Mario and Monfils winning in straight sets. Monfils should have shook off his injury bug by now and get back to his earlier form. Donald Young is an OK player but he doesn't have the game to beat a player like Monfils right now.

I was looking at laying the chalk on Super Mario myself, but it's also very very early in the tournament, he should be extra inspired to rebound off that ugly Danevic loss. Acasuco burned me last tourney when I backed Gulbis, but he doesn't figure to stand much of a chance if Super Mario comes to play.
