but the problem with that game df is that purdue can score and penn state can defend and they both suck at the other side of the ball. thats a lot of points even for a "talent discrepancy" like penn state and purdue. penn st has played close, low-scoring games almost all season so far.

That is a good point, but I don't think Penn State has played an offense that is this terrible yet.

This is coming from a huge Penn State fan::

PSU is by far the best defense Purdue will have faced.

PSU might win this game like 19-6. The line is probably about right. Not much value either way, but Purdue has played 4 awful teams and Notre Dame, and they lost to Notre Dame at Purdue by 28.

PSU is a bit better than ND I think, so I wouldn't take just 12 in happy valley.

does the OP in this thread understand that Penn State could barely generate 16 points on the road against an atrocious indiana team???

Penn State has a legitimate top 5 top 10 worst offense in the country, nothing safe about this play at all

Purdue may only need to score 7-10 points because Penn State's offense is horrible. Did anyone watch them play Temple? No way in hell would I lay 12 in a conference game with them.

I've been flipping on this game since I saw the line.

Iowa's offense is better than Purdue's and PSU held Iowa to 3 points, so... it is a tough one to call. I'd advise everyone to lay off or just hit the under 41.5

I think because of public perception this game goes over the total. Although Purdue is bad, many of those games they were without Marve at QB. Purdue's D is suspect and PSU will score.
