Just wondering if anyone here has ever taken one of those Tanya Roberts and Allan Thicke free Las Vegas stays at the Tahitti Village and a couple other Vegas locations?
If so,was it a high pressure boiler room scheme where from beginning to end you were hounded to get in on a time share?
Going on those time share presentations where a free gift is involved is hillarious.Every used car salesman with a bad looking suit is in on the action where they became time share salesman.They all remind me of Herb Tarlick from WKRP in Cincinnatti.They have your whole credit history and probably know every intimate detail of your life.Then they expect you to make a snap decision as to whether you want to buy in immediately.
Some people get their feathers ruffled and sometimes don't end up with the free gift even because they get in an argument and leave.The best thing to do if you are just in it for the free gift and don't want to buy in is to play along with them.Cook up some story how you are really close to finalizing a deal to buy a motor home or cabin but now since you saw the time share you are going to go back home and cancel the paperwork for that.That buys you time and it gets the boiler room people off your back so you can enjoy your free few days in Vegas.
