    Not your everyday baseball trend
I would have put this in the baseball forum but I wanted to make some of you aware the impressive winning streak Roy Oswalt has over the Reds.

Oswalt has compiled a 19-1 record and 2.46 ERA in 22 starts against the Reds throughout his entire career.

You can take it or leave it but I made a large wager on it just now at -150.

That was the old Oswalt. The Oswalt of this season hasn't been anything like the Oswalt we used to know. This will be his first start off the DL, so whatever was wrong with him might explain his mediocore season. I wouldn't make too much of that stat since this is a different Oswalt right now. Also coming off the DL he may only go 5-6 innings at the most.

19-1 is insane.I've never seen a pitcher with that kind of winning record vs any team.It would be foolish not to bet on him tonight.

The line came down for Oswalt which is weird.

Half of all MLB starters are crap so you can make the same argument for all of them.

As for Johnny Cueto, the rookie is starting to show signs of slowing down, typical of a first year big league pitcher who hasn't pitched this many innings.

I will take my chances with the home team and Oswalt.

I find that troubling because I took Astros at -150 at 2:00 AM thinking the line would go higher.

the line has fallen considerately from around -150 to -130.

Both of today's starting pitchers are in the league's top 10 in home runs allowed. Cueto is fourth with 22 allowed, while Oswalt is tied for ninth with 18.
