Rodgers, Welker, or Megatron possible MVP?
Obviously, this award can't be taken away from Aaron Rodgers at the moment, coming off of a Super Bowl Victory. Sooner or later, Green Bay will lose.

    Rodgers - 129 of 180 (71.7%) for 1721 yards, 14 TD 2 INT (Green Bay 5-0)

    Welker - 45 receptions for 740 yards, 5 TD (New England 4-1)

    Johnson- 29 receptions, 451 yards, 9 TD (Detroit 5-0)

This has been the year of surprises. Buffalo, San Fransisco, Cincinnati, Detroit all playing well while Eagles and Jets under .500

Welker has record breaking numbers but I don't think that he'll be able to keep up the pace. It's more about the system and having Brady as QB.

If Aaron Rodgers slips up and Green Bay has one bad game, this starts to become interesting. He's been perfect even though his team's pass defense is a disaster.

Calvin Johnson's numbers don't tell the story. This is the first time that Detroit has been 5-0 since 1956. He makes acrobatic and timely catches in some amazing comebacks that have kept the Lions undefeated. Detroit is the story of the season. Johnson could be a possible longshot for MVP - "if Rodgers slips up or Green Bay losses a couple"

If Green Bay falters, this will be interesting? Any thoughts?

          Rodgers if anyone.

When was the last time a WR won it?

Rodgers or Brady. I guess Welker is possible if he shatters records, but almost certainly Rodgers or Brady.

Never EVER. I guess there's a first for everything, but very unlikely. It's strange though, kicker linebacker defensive ends have won, but never a WR. Almost always a QB or a RB. No RB's on the radar this year though.
