Why do people drive 7 plus hours for a game

This couple I know is driving 7.5 hrs one way to watch an nfl game..wow. That seems insane to me, for any game let alone a reg season game. How far would you travel for a game

ya....as a pats fan/season ticket holder....i can remember in the mid to late 90s, when i was in high school, people driving from maine ...they were about 7 hours away...and they were there every week....and people that would tailgate in the same lot as us every week who drove from jersey.....its crazy....but its passion and loyalty....were all a little insane....

I'm driving 3.5 ish Sunday. It's your only option if you live a little ways away to see your team.

Was roughly 8 hours. Road sodas made it go quicker, plus playing some stupid golf game on the laptop for money.

depends if i was going there just to watch the game or spend a couple nights wherever the game is at.

Certainly wouldnt drive 7.5 hrs watch a game and drive back, not worth it, would much rather just watch on tv than do that

that's pretty much the time it takes to get into the parking lot at an nfl game

anyone who does it every home game is a retard....a one time shot or annual trip with buds to see a team or a stadium is fine
