I'm convinced they will close the series out. Detroit has gotten two good wins but I think it's pretty clear that they are a step below Texas. Rangers -140 looks really good to me.
Should we hammer the Rangers in Game 6???

#8I don't think there's anything clear in this series except that Nelson Cruz has saved the Rangers from maybe being down 3-2 at this point. Tigers had opportunities in most games. Comes down to execution. This series has been very tight in every game. If Scherzer pitches how he did last time out, Tigers will be in the game. Holland is not anywhere close to a sure thing.Comment -

#12Scherzer has been pretty decent in the playoffs. I think the Rangers win and still might take them big but I don't think they will break the game open until later, like the 6th or 7th. Regardless, they will take care of business.Comment -

#14You think so? I know Verlander wants to start game 7 but will Leyland give it to him. Fister is definitely a good option. It will be interesting to see what Leyland does. #15Shouldnt hammer anyone in baseball...
All the teams are mediocre, you're basically guessing...
Probably value in playing every dog blindly...
Even Verlander isn't dominant...Comment -

#16I can guarantee LeLand will NOT pitch JV if it goes to 7. NO CHANCE. The dude just pitched over 130 pitches today. I aint worried, if it goes to 7, Fister has just as nasty stuff.Originally posted by MikailYou think so? I know Verlander wants to start game 7 but will Leyland give it to him. It will be interesting to see what Leyland does. That is if there's a game 7I bet they will split time. These guys are suppose to be athletes? You threw 130 pitches big deal you have 3 days off. Verlander is going to demand to pitch for a few innings. If he gives a fuk about winning like Kobe Bryant than he will. Or TO who plays the SB on a broken ankle. I think he'll pitch for a bit i'll put points on that Fister will go like 5 verlander 4. how do you know they won't need fister for game 6?Originally posted by pacoI can guarantee LeLand will NOT pitch JV if it goes to 7. #25Both Verlander and Fister are starters. It would be unusual if Leyland would do that. Especially with all the viable options in the Detroit bullpen.Originally posted by Goat MilkI bet they will split time. These guys are suppose to be athletes? #27Who cares. There are no rules in a game 7 if you really care abotu winning. i don't follow bases but i know verlander will pitch at least a few innings in that game and i'm willing to put points on it.Originally posted by MikailBoth Verlander and Fister are starters. #28Of course it's possible. Especially in a game 7 win or go home situation but Why put Verlander in mid game when there are Benoit to set up and Valverde to close? I'm just saying it's not normal protocol to put a starter into a set up or close situation.Originally posted by Goat MilkWho cares.
