It makes sense to me that Nevada would be the least charitable state.People that gamble need every edge they can get and they figure by giving away $$ to people who probably have more than they do, it will result in being barreled in.

New York came in 2nd place.It makes sense too because if you make 100 K in New York,you are just making ends meet.Taxes,fees,regulations up the ying yang.

Depends how you define charity. Casinos are the beneficiary of untold expressions of generosity. This is where a lot of people really give what they can't do without. Isn't that the mark of true charity?
