8500 points for an iPad is about $700, if you use pizza as the points value (180 points = $15). So if anything they are a bit overpriced, since they are $500 from Apple. Unless I'm missing something?

Someone needs an Econ 101 refresher. sales volume doesn't indicate a price being too low , but rather superior product quality/demand relative to the other store offerings. I'm glad to see SBR offering popular items instead of, say, cheap chinese gadgets from Brookstone.

For players who so wish, the option to turn Pro by making a $200 a year charitable contribution will be made available. The regular option of depositing $200 in a sponsor sportsbook remains unchanged.

Eliminate points given for first post. We will increase the amount of points given for a login visit to compensate. Non pros will still get 6 points a day and Pro's will get 12. The only net effect is a visitor is not required or offered incentive to post. (the forums are plenty busy)

All poker contests will be given poker points as prizes. Prize levels will significantly increase as a result. Poker points must be rolled 5x in the open play ring games before they are transferred to the regular points wallet.
