I own company stock, and I'm in a profession where I'm kind of stuck at my company and can't go somewhere else and make the same kind of money, but I still have a good time at work and don't let it bother me when the company turns in a really bad quarter. We were on the verge of bankruptcy a few years ago, but I wasn't moping around and depressed. I'd rather have a guy like Fielder on my team or at my company than some guy who gets depressed and horrible to be around when things get tough.

You do not know if he doesn't care or not. You are just making an assumption (and you know what they say about those). Professional athletes are members of a fraternity. They see each other all the time, they train together, drink together, eat together etc. Last night it looked like Miggy was smiling on his way toward a collision with Napoli. Those two have worked out together and have a good relationship. Of course its gonna seem kinda funny to them.

Fielder is in a contract year and I am sure he cares very much how his team does. Would you rather have him acting like a nervous wreck? The fact that these guys can still joke, while on national television and in a huge game is amazing to me.
