Oh yeah Curry will be great playing in Oakland . He must have been upset he was on a team with 0 chances in anything. Did he really get traded there? If so it would be a huge pickup for OAK and a huge loss for Seattle.

he has been a MAJOR disappointment thus far in his career. When you're demoted to 2nd string and you're a top 10 draft pick, something is definitely wrong. The Raiders must be thinking they can coach him up but the history of guys underperforming like this does NOT lie in his favor. Should be interesting, the Raiders are always willing to take a chance and pull the trigger....

The Seabags got a 7th round pick and a conditional 4th or 5th rounder in 2013 if Curry actually does a damn thing.

Moral of the story......don't draft players from Wake Forest.....especially in the 1st round.....especially in the top 5.

The entire early 2009 draft was a mess. Curry isn't the only guy. Just take a look at all these top picks:

Pick 3: Tyson Jackson of the Chiefs
            Pick 4: Aaron Curry
            Pick 5: Sanchez
Pick 6: Andre Smith (is he still in the NFL?)
            Pick 7: Dereius Heyward-Bay
            Pick 10: Crabtree
Pick 11: Aaron Maybin (is he still in the NFL?)

However there were some great players from pick 12 til the end of the 1st round. Guys like Orakpo, Hakeem Nicks, Kenny Britt, Jeremy Maclin, Michael Oher, Petigrew, Vontae Davis, CLAY MATTHEWS, Percy Harvin, and Brian Cushing.

He was a workout warrior. Got everyone excited with his combine workout, and of course the Seachicks could not resist.
