That parlays are sucker bets. Sure, they can be, but 2-6 (or so) team ML parlays can be much better than an ATS bet. Teams don't play to cover spreads, they play to win

It all depends on the matchups though. If LSU, Oklahoma, Bama, Oregon, Packers, and the Patriots are all at home as 10+ point faves, I would rather play an ML parlay of them than 1 ATS (assuming the parlay was around the same price as the spread)
