This is the game the books will need the most because of parlays. Just like Seattle last week. Rams wont win but should cover the points.

Blindly betting dogs of 10 points or more in NFL would have turned a slight profit over the past decade with standard -110 vig, so the wager is not dumb. I see either a backdoor cover or a complete blowout. Will depend on turnovers Rams have.

Good point about Painter and Garcon. But like I said, those were 'first glance'. I will narrow it down over the next couple days between those picks, and the others on the board.

Also, Addai isn't that big of a threat. He was dominant in his first few years in the league, but so far this year he hasn't stepped up his game in Peyton's absence.

When the lines are this big you are really only betting on the fact of whether it will be a statistically sound game or a dirty, penalty filled, ball-dropping, disgrace of a game. This is just one of those lines where you just skip over and find one of the other 12 games to bet on. I am a Rams fan and I will tell you that the minor success the team has shone so far is purely situational and definitely not dependable. IF I needed action on this game I would have taken the GB -14.5 it opened with that GB will cover before halftime.

I would think twice before taking the Pats straight or in a tease. Boys coming off a bye are generally pretty good and 2 weeks to game plan defensively to stop Brady and company. Also 2 weeks to heal some banged up players. I'm leaning Dallas in this one.
