I like the over 40 tease too, so rarely do NFL games not go over 40 these days.

The Giants beat the Rams on MNF 28-16. I could be wrong, but I am 99% sure the Giants were favored.

Not bad. I was actually thinking of doing the same thing and taking the Bears +7. May even sprinkle some on the ML for a small bet. I think the dog wins tonight and at +250, that is good value.

yesterday I had 3 team teaser and lost w/ Giants -1/2...I thought Giants would win too.

Do I think Lions win...YES, but I can see them losing, but do I see Bears losing by 14+...NO

I agree that Bears +14 is the smart play here, but what about the second part of the teaser? Do you see any way that the Peppers and Urlacher pass rush can shut down the Lions' passing offense? What about Suh shutting down Forte? I'm leaning toward the Over 40 for my teaser as well, just wanted to get your thoughts.

Last year the Bears won by only 5 points playing at Soldier Field, with Stafford out for half of the game, and Calvin Johnson's game winning TD called back. This year the Lions are playing at home, with confidence, and a healthy Stafford on MNF. I also really think the Lions D-line has a big advantage on the Bears O-line, especially if Fairley plays tonight. On the other hand, Detroit had no answer for Forte last year as he accounted for more total yards than the entire Lions team.

I like the Lions, but I don't like the fact that almost 70% of the public is on them. Still trying to decide what to do.

Might just watch.

Both defenses have big name players, but they won't make impacts on every snap. Yea, they will get TFL and Sacks, and maybe even a Turnover...but overall Bears give up almost 25 a gm and Lions give up 20.

Also, Lions are score more than 30 PPG w/ Calvin Johnson having 8 TDs. Urlacher is a beast, but he cannot stop Johnson.

I can easily see 1st quarter being low scorer with division Rivalry being there and being big MNF gm. But overall, the game will have mid 40s to 50s points scored

Sams, Urlacher doesn't cover Johnson so it really doesn't matter.

The Bears have Tillman, who is one of the tallest corners in the league, so they have as good of a chance as anyone at stopping megatron.

Right now I can take Lions +7 or Bears +22 - do you think there's any way the Bears lose by more than 3 TD's????

Also, Chris Harris is back after missing a couple go games. Bears missed him badly.
