Yeah, take their best hitter out of the lineup because some banged up barreled in cueball is flying off the handle.

He has not been the best hitter on texas all year Son
He is not the same player this year
Every at bat is a lazy at bat
He has a long swing which does not hold up over time vs a compact swing
        Yiser watch the games
Verlander would of struck him out 5 times if he stayed in the game

Listen baldy, I watch enough Texas games to know that benching Hamilton would be moronic.

Who hit the go ahead 2 run single in game 4 vs. the Rays? Oh yeah, that shitty hitter that batted just under 300 25 hr (and being injured for a while) and over 100 RBI....Who would you put in?

Their might be a riot in Texas if they pulled Hamilton.

I agree Hamilton is not the same, but he ain't going anywhere.

Hamilton has something wrong with his left ear lobe, it's obvious if you look closely. I say somebody should pay attention to this.

Just his presence changes the game, plus he's great in the field

JJ is bitter again. He offered Hamilton some tar in exchange for a rim job and Josh passed.

                                I don't too many managers that just bench a guy hitting .298 w/ 25hr's & 94'rbi's

I guess that's why you're trolling message boards w/ unrealistic scenarios instead of controlling a MLB franchise 3 wins short of back to back World Series appearances??

Ever since he had that pneumonia earlier this year and was hospitalized for 2-3 weeks... he hasn't been the same. He just lost his steroid mass during that healing process... never recovered.

Indeed. I'm not even sure how much he pays attention. I believe he has similar threads to this early in the year, saying he is a .200 and can't do anything blah blah blah. Hamilton will get hot, JJ will make a thread about him being unbelievable. I can do JJ's job

By his standards no he didn't. By 95% of other MLB players standards yes.

Guess they could go w/ Gentry instead

He did not have a good year

                                                  He is an easy out

                                                  Josh even admitted it

                                                  I win AGAIN

i'm going to laugh when Hamilton goes deep tomorrow night

He should not even be playing
                                                    he is hurt
texas would of won 4-0 if he was healthy

"I'm about 50 percent," Hamilton told The Ben and Skin Show on Dallas' 103.3 KESN-FM. "I'm going to give you 100 percent of my 50 percent." Hamilton hasn't homered since Sept. 23, which is part of his effort to compensate for the injury

Id expect him to continue getting a heavy dose of inside pitching throughout the series, or at least until he proves he can do something with the inside stuff..
