Very curious that Nady was pulled. I just got a text from a guy that works as a sports reporter in Pittsburgh that Nady has been traded.

The Pirates broadcasters have said that Marte is going with him pending physicals. Didn't say where.

My Pittsburgh sources say Nady and Marte have been traded to the Yankees for four minor leaguers:

Phil Coke, a 25-year-old left-hander, was pulled from his start after one inning tonight. Coke is 9-4 with a 2.58 ERA in 20 starts.

Jose Tabata ranked No. 3 in the Yankees' system. Tabata was listed as the best hitter for average in that system. He is an outfielder.
