Pretty nice setup in Ft. Worth. They rebuilt old LaGrave Field, went there a couple of years back for a game and it was great to see longtime baseball ambassador Bobby Bragan walking around talking to the fans.Comment -

I'm not sure what people think the GM of a team like this does, but I'm betting they would be surprised when they found out it wasn't just sitting in the office trying to make a trade or glad-handing in the stands during a game. A friend's son was the Asst GM up in Midland, a Double-A team, leaps and bounds above this independent team, and he spent a lot of time selling tickets and dragging people out of their seats for the between innings 'entertainment' that goes on at minor league games.Comment
