I actually think Fish could be good at this price (I actually got +170), mainly because I am not a Dempster believer. Also, Johnson was a highly regarded prospect that had Tommy John surgery, and he has looked pretty good in his first two starts back. You see it all the time where giuys that have TJ surgery come back with better arm strength than before, so Johnson figures to get better as the year goes on.

With my bookie the ML was at -178, but when the Cubs win at home it's a bigger chance for a 2+ run win than a 1 run win... right???

Perhaps looking at the OVER at 9.5.... not sure. Dempster's home starts average 10+ runs, but Johnson has a smaller stat package to look at due to the injury. Wind is gonna be blowing out LEFT-CENTER at 8-9 mph from what I read, not a huge impact.

Those first innings props are the best. I mean 2 decent pitchers dont usually give run(s) up the first inning, they choke halfway through, or the bullpen kills it at the end. But usually the first inning everyones getting used to each other.

So far they've gone excellent.

Its just as easy to win as any old bet, either a winner or a loser. Its a sucker bet if you have the urge to play it on many games for some extra action but can be easy money for an expected low scoring game, good pitchers, etc.
