You can use a cell phone in the casino, just not at a table (whether its poker, blackjack, craps, etc.) Cells phones are not allowed by Nevada state law in any sportsbook. Its an old law that disallows communication devices for those who were attempting to line shop, scalp, etc...Comment -

When I was just in Vegas in March, I saw on the local news that they are attempting to get rid of that outdated law.
It was annoying trying to save my seat in between games and Robyn would go play slots so I would be stuck there by myself with no one to call. So sad.....Comment -

I tend to believe otherwise. I may be a crotchety old fool, but I simply find it very annoying and inconsiderate the way many are yacking on their phone in some circumstances, and it's been proven time and time again that it presents a danger in many instances (i.e., driving a vehicle). if I remember correctly they lifted the ban on cellphones at the tables. Meaning u can text and talk while playing. Just ask ur dealer.
