Don't forget Halladay didn't exactly distinguish himself last postseason vs. the light-hitting Giants ... surrendering 8 Hs and 4 ERs in 7.0 IP ... at Philly. The -173 line on the Phillies is insane.

Halladay pitched a no hitter vs a better hitting club (reds) at Philly-but lets just forget that.

Wrong. There are plenty of teams in the league that can put up 8 runs or more on a given night and give up 10 in return.

That doesn't happen with the Phillies. They have the best starting staff in baseball by far and are the best defensive team in the National League.

dont recall a gm that Doc has pitched against stl where they didnt get a few across, maybe im wrong on this but i can think of 3 gms this season and they scored in them all. one of them the whole damn team was on the dl.
