Has it really gone that high at some books? All of the books I use have actually dropped since I placed my bet this morning. Most are around +153 now.

I agree. There's more value in this play than Det +155 for the game. To me the starters are close with a slight edge to Nova. Look at who Fister pitched great against in Sept. Clev, Minn, Oak, KC & Clev again. All trash teams. I think he was exposed by NY in this series. If it's close late I like my chances with the Yankees bullpen. Detrots pen has been hit this whole series. The Yanks pen have only allowed one run so far. Unless Fister can go deep in this one I don't think they can pull it out. I would say they get Fister for 3 & 2-3 more against Detroits pen.

Liking a small play on the Tigers. It’s Nova’s turn to surrender 4 Rs or so. He’s been defying the odds lately. And has fared worse at home this year vs. on the road – 4.11 ERA 1.41 WHIP and .265 BAA are not great numbers. The guy just doesn’t pass my eye test. <O

Yankees have more batting as left handed hitter tonight in yankees stadium.. That short porch is going to come into play.. Yankees are heavily favored as left handed hitting tonight going for that short porch against a Right Handed Pitcher.. It's cold here tonight and the airs fairly thin.. Balls are going to be flying

I like the under as well. But not the final outcome, because marino has 35 to 40 pitches on the way in the last two innings. The way I see it the tigers are playing a shortened game and as good as fister may be.. the Yankee bats are good enough to score four on verlander.

I don't know I can't bet aganist the yanks in game 5 at home, vs Det.(with no verlander. Its just hard for me. Maybe Det. comes up on top, and i will give them props. But don't under estimate home field, and the physiological advantage of them being the yankees.

I understand what you are saying. Some people will BLINDLY cheer against a gambler. That is not the case for me. Either way, good luck, I hope the Yankees lose by one and you have them +1.5. That works for me.
