Some threads get doubled up if they're somewhat relevant to both areas. Not sure if it's the mods who do it or if there's a way to double up the thread on your own.

The mods must do it. I started a baseball thread in players talk, went to the baseball section and also posted it there. Later on a second thread appeared in the baseball section. So there were three identical threads kicking around.

It's a feature we use to reroute some threads to the appropriate forums, while allowing them to remain in the main forum as well.

What you need to do maxie to mess up the mods is start a thread with baseball in the title and talk about football in the body of the thread.
That will really screw the mods.

Threads aren't moved but can be seen from different forum categories. If there is an MLB pick thread that someone puts in the "Lobby" it can also be seen by those who come into the baseball forum. This way those who want to read only baseball can go to that one forum and catch it all.
