Ron Paul on tax payers bailing out banking system
The fed is chasing its losses. Currency traders must be licking their chops shorting the dollar.

Too bad he couldn't just conform a little bit, without dropping all of his principles, might have gained even more traction and stood a fighters chance this election.

It's too bad he didn't do like Perot and announce he would run as an I if his supportors could get his name on all 50 state ballots.

Dittos Bill for posting and Ron Paul for voicing off about it.

What more can be said from lone voices in the wilderness like Ron Paul where his common sense approach to this stuff will never be implemented.Everyone knows he's right but they pigeon hole him as a nutcase because they have a stake in living off the government ''tax payer''money trough.

Ron Paul is the equivalent by telling the US citizens their country is in financial trouble to a concerned uncle telling his nieces and nephews that their parents are bankrupt and it's a terrible idea for them to be taking the kids on a cross country trip to Wally World.People like that who speak the cold hard facts are called killjoys and wet blankets.

All the deadbeats, freeloaders and flim flam men depend on the government keeping up with the monetary ponzy scheme for their livlihood and very existence.I have a hunch that if Ron Paul was still a threat to win his party's nomination or the general election his theme song would be The Rolling Stones,You can't always get what you want.hehe!

Nothing new here. Taxpayers have long bailed out governments on the federal, state and local levels. If "everyone knows he's right," as Brent notes, then 'everyone' needs to show up at the polls each year and elect more Ron Paul's. And a few of those 'everyones' need to stand up and run for office as independents themselves.

They have too much control and too much power now. Showing up at the polls will do nothing. We would need an event that would wake everyone up from the flat screens and internet connections, sofas, etc. We would have to physically remove ALL these politicians out of office. Go back to a gold standard backing our money.

                  In other words.....revolution.

bill, fed is gonna increase interest rate soon to fight inflation, so dollar might strengthen. if the eur-usd breaks the new resistance around 1.6035-1.6075, then it will go way higher. otherwise, it will likely to drop in the short term.

The unintelligent vote is bought. The guilt trip put on people who don't vote and the perception of electability created by the handful of mainstream media sources ensure that.
The internet seemed like the one chance for people to see around corporate America but the big guys are buying up the outlets so have to see how that turns out in 4-8 years. IMO Ron Paul got his 8-15% because of alternate news. He doesn't get 2% or make it to the debates otherwise.

Ron Paul is the one guy on the hill who says it like it is. I wish he would start calling out soe of the crooks like Dodd, and Gram to name a few. It just amases me how he is considered the nutbag and the others are in control. All these guys in congress do is fvck the public taxpayer at everyturn. Ya know it is elect not re-elect.

He wants to go cold turkey on all the things we are doing wrong which means all the current voters would have to take a steps back to eventually go in the other direction. He scares people talking about cutting out the IRS, aid to Israel and gov subsidized programs. Like the deal with assisting lenders, people are scared if we don't. He would pull the band-aid off and see how it bleeds.

Frankly im pissed. I don't give a **** if someone's house is getting repo'd. I mean that to. I bought my shit. I paid for my shit. If the guy can't do it, let the bank judge what to do. They have to spend anywhere from 50k to 80k to foreclose. It costs the bank alot of money to make bad loans. In Iowa the person can live up to 2 years in the house without making payments... Seriously, why protect the stupid ****s, they will more than likely just go buy another big screen tv or some car they can't afford anywyas... I'm tired of supporting people who don't know how to manage there money.

Buying a house and owning it suppose to be the American Dream, well not everyone achieves there dreams not my fault if they ****ed up or couldn't get it done.

But I'll be damned if I'm buying there ****ing house for them.

the "american dream" has been crushed by systemic economic disparity. It's our failing faux democratic system that causes our economic problems.

sometimes people need to fall get back up again. Our country doesn't seem to understand that. They keep writing handouts and wonder why they are left holding the bag.
