Not quite sure why some people think the public is still all over the Eagles. From what i can tell it's 60-40 with the public siding with the Birds on the spread but 70-30 with the public on the Bills ML.

The Bills aren't winning this game. They were brought back down to earth by the Cincinnati Bengals and now they are facing an Eagles team that knows it can't afford to lose this game.

Reid is so pissed off at his team for getting blown out in Buffalo he goes to his kids house and does about 4 lines of coke and eats a bucket of popeye's chicken. I maintain a stats database built from boxscore data in which I adjust the offensive and defensive numbers for each team based on the opponents that they've faced. When we talk about which team is more overrated, the obvious answer is Buffalo. Aside from the fact that they've been outgained by their opponents on the year by an average of 14 ypg and are sporting a +7 TO margin through 4 games (Let's see that continue...), their pass defense has been weak, as has their passing offense. They had no business winning either the Oakland or the New England games, let alone both of them, and they collapsed in their last game vs Cincinnati.

The Eagles started the season with more hype than any other team, and have fallen down a fair ways in the public eye. Their biggest problem so far has been their offensive line protecting Vick, and Vick failing to protect himself, taking WAY too many hits per game. The boxscores show how this has affected the Eagles this season, as they've been outscored in the 4Q 36-0 in their last 3 games. On defense, they've been most troubled by stopping the run and have been just average on pass defense. However, the Eagles have the offensive weapons available to them to offset their defensive liabilities.

I made this line to be PHI -1, so the books aren't really doing any favours on the line, however I would say this is an excellent spot to play the Eagles at a fair price against a team that's living on borrowed time. I'm on the ML (-133) x2 and will likely add more prior to kickoff.

Additionally, I intend to play against the Bills (@ NYG) again next week and should the Bills beat the Eagles this week, the price on the Giants over Buffalo should be pretty nice.
