One thing I noticed about those who denigrate SBR points
They always have no points, and transfer their daily 6 to the sportsbook trying to live the dream
Stop acting like you are above it.

Probably not a perfect loyalty program. I made platinum at united this year and I still rarely get upgraded.
Some folks are a little over the top critical. The SBR loyalty program wasn't copied. We are working hard to make it fun and rewarding.

I use them as what they are: fun. If I want an iPad I will go buy one, not save or try to "win" one. I use points for fun parlays, contests with my buddies, poker etc.
Probably one of the reasons I am point broke right now.

I was buying a computer the other day and while I was waiting for the guy to sort out the paperwork, I let my son play with the ipad on display. Let's just say that although I've been saving for the bloody thing for over a year now (I give too many pts away), I'm so glad I haven't paid cash for one for him. I give it 14 days or less after he gets it until it's toast.
And yeah Profane, I totally agree. It's almost got to the point where I'm starting to think the same thing about guys who bitch about the loss of sportsbook cash for Americans this long after the fact. Yeah ok, it's not ideal but instead of thinking of the v gift cards they can buy (same as cash people!!!!) they just keep complaining. Yet when I look at their points log it's like 12:01 +12 pts, 12:02 Points transfer to Sportsbook -12pts. Pretty degen. Some of them even have quite the history in the asking for points loan business. Were they literally just funding their books with sportsbook cash from SBR and that's why they keep moaning because now they can't get a bet in at 5Dimes? Same few guys over and over and over.

haha love that scene. I think once the US guys realise they're not the entire market and there's a whole wide world of bettors out there, maybe they'll start to put things in perspective. Just because the market may be changing in one area of the world, doesn't mean the other 6 billion people on the planet are dealing with such Draconian laws. Everyone's as important as everyone else.

1 US player carries a ton more weight than any number of your 6 billion. (especially the loser eskimos up North)
Sure this place can get by, but the good ol days are a memory.
Most of Europe is in far worse shape than the US. And I think you've maxed out on your Asian client base.
bol with your points

Sbr pts kick arse.
Only realy quibbles I'd have is it'd be nice to have things like pizza/ipads available outside the US, but that's probably difficult to set up for them. Also be nice to have a bit more choice of freeplays - I can't use sportbet because I already have a 5dimes account.
Still, it costs me precisely nothing. Just today I got 300 euros into my account from SBR, for doing ..... nothing really. How can you complain about that?

remember he tried to play martyr and refused to receive points for like 10 months, kept bragging about how much he donated to Haiti and what not.
I've almost saved up enough to buy a really neat SBR ballcap!
Gonna be so bitchin'.......
