Looks like the Cards might be stealing signs. Ruiz had to go out to the mound and tell Bastardo what to pitch. Then after the pitching change Worley tosses a little chin music to Craig to send a message. Just a theory.

Decent cash for cards backers. As a fan of neither team it sucks though. I hate LaRussa. His decision to start Carpenter on 3 days rest was idiotic yet he gets bailed out and somehow he'll suck some "credit" out of it.

How is it best not to sweep??? That makes no sense but I'm sure it makes Philly fans feel better after they just threw their two aces and could only get one win at home.

It's a 5 game series. As a Cardinals fan, I'm very happy getting past Lee and Halliday and only needing to win two games at home.
