True, but I think that is a product of a "chess" match. Scherzer was working the corners trying to stay away from the middle, and the Yankees were working the count trying to wait for a Scherzer mistake. Though you are right, he needs his pitch count to be in the 70s so he can be good for 7 to 8 innings.

Very much agree. The Yankees don't have the starting pitching to win a long series. They might sneak by with a divisional series win, but don't see them pushing through the Rangers or Rays in a long 7 game series.
