the answer is yes, most are dumb. Fitness pros and fitness athletes are dumb as well, if you want to count it as a whole. this doesn't mean most are, but yes most are.

Just look at all the scam vitamins, supplements, exercise infomercials that are complete scams or failures. Most also believe that just because they are in shape, they must know what they are doing, most do not know what they are doing let alone know how to train other people

check out mike mentzer articles jj or arthur jones and you will learn alot about proper weight training

Yes, they're extremely ignorant. JJ, go to a uni and wander through the Engineering halls and peek into the physics classrooms. You see bean poles JJ. Look in a math class. Weight lifters really stick out on a college campus. Less than one percent of them have a college degree. Most end up roofing homes or coaching summer sports and umpiring. They're Neandrothals
