You don't build wealth and a family/business to pass it on and enable the next generation to do the same if you make $100k and spend $99k King. Banks cannot spend $$ now because A) new rules set on how much they need set aside to prove solvency in another down turn - remember the 'stress tests' of 2009/2010? and B) the new Dodd/Frank laws slashed operating revenue. And when a company loses revnue they do what?? fire workers and cur services.
Do banks make a profit year in and year out...absolutely....but do you want them to NOT make $$ which means they will shut down and then how will you pay your bills online....how will you get a car loan/mortgage...etc.Comment -
