He goes to Hawaii who was perpetually in the toilet and turns them into an 11 and 12 win team and a couple big bowl games, one a BCS appearance.
Now in the third year at SMU they might actually be really good. They had two winning seasons in a row and made two straight bowl games. Not saying they are super but the guys wins with mediocre talent, while the guys who hawk for big time jobs, and big time boosters willing to pay big money for college guys cant win shit.
Just glad to see a guy who just does his job and wins and isnt always looking to get paid. He actually looks to go some place that needs improvement. Seriously if ND sucks this year they should look to hire this guy. He probably wouldnt go even though they do suck. But they should at least look him up.
